Jonathan Brooks is a co-founder and co-owner of L.E.ex., LLC. Jonathan is a certified occupational therapy assistant with over 5 years of experience in the skilled nursing and subacute rehab settings. Mr. Brooks is a lifelong resident of Muskingum County and graduate of the Zane State Occupational Therapy Assistant Program.
Todd Sprague is a co-founder and co-owner of L.E.ex., LLC. Todd has over 16 years of experience as a licensed physical therapist, primarily in the skilled nursing and subacute rehab settings. Mr. Sprague is a graduate of Philo High School and then received degrees from Ohio Valley College and Ohio University School of Physical Therapy.
Mr. Brooks and Mr. Sprague applied their experience and knowledge of the unique needs of the debilitated, geriatric and bariatric patient populations to develop the P.T. Press. The P.T. Press is a leg press device for patients temporarily in wheelchairs. Besides helping patients to regain strength in their lower extremities, it allows the physical therapists to apply manual resistance while maintaining safe back body mechanics. The P.T. Press is the initial product of L.E.ex.’s line of exercise equipment for the debilitated patient.
Mr. Brooks and Mr. Sprague were MCBI’s winners of the 2011 Big Idea Contest and 2011 Business Plan Contest which resulted in the establishment of L.E.ex. and positioned the company to initiate sales in 2012.
