Eligibility for Residential Client Program
- Must be a start-up or early stage venture, or an existing business expanding into new markets or lines of business
- Must have a business plan (we can provide assistance in developing it)
- Must exhibit ability to obtain financing or to attract investors and provide a reasonable return
- Must hold potential to create new jobs, preferably jobs with above-average pay
- Must commit to engagement in the program and have a good work ethic
Preference will be given to companies that:
- Attract new, external revenue to the community through sales in order to grow the local economy, create new employment opportunities and expand the tax base
- Serve a larger-than-local market and do not duplicate services and products currently available in the community
- Are engaged in information technology, manufacturing and other enterprises based on secured intellectual property
At this time, retail, professional service and wholesale service businesses will not be considered as residential clients. However, these businesses are welcome in the Affiliate Client Program.
Eligibility for Affiliate Client Program
- Any company seeking assistance from MCBI can apply for the Affiliate Client Program
- Client must commit to engagement in the 12-month program
- The total cost is $300 and can be paid on a monthly basis at $25 per month
